Purpose

Women of Worth (W.O.W.) exists to
  1. Provide a structure on which to build women's fellowship, 
  2. Develop and enritch our spiriual growth,
  3. Mutually encourageand support women's physical and emotional strength, 
  4. Provide a strategy for women to develop missionary awareness withing out church and our community
For these purposes and to promote our goals, women of all ages are invited and encouraged to attend our regularly scheduled functions. These meetings are scheduled during the daytime and are attended basically by retired women or those women who have difficulty driving at night.

Some special events are planned to involve women who are employed and who have young families. The special event meetings will be scheduled at night and we will offer to accomidate those women who don't drive at night.

Meetings

B.B.F  Women's Meetings are scheduled monthly on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. Our calendar focuses on Missionary Programs with some Community Outreach focused Projects. Meeting times are 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon unless otherwise noted. A lunch or snack follows each meeting.For community outings, members are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. and carpool from the church parking lot located at 2255 Pillsbury Road, Chico.

Scheduled meetings are included in the church's Sunday Bulletin and are announced in the Powerpoint announcements before our Morning Worship Services. These meetings will also be posted on the website's calendar page and here.

W.O.W.—Women of Worth—start marking your calendar for our next  meeting  on Tuesday, May 8th at 10:30 a.m.  
Leslie Howard, a volunteer at the Enloe Health Learning Center will be our speaker. She will share with us on "Staying Well".  Lunch will follow at "Ginger’s Restaurant". 
Sign-ups for this event are forth-coming.

also...Women’s Bible Study—led by Shirley Lewis meeting Wenesdays- 2:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  They are studying the Book of Daniel.
